After having written about the importance of county markets / groceries to rural areas, I dig in for a quick case study of those in the southern-middle-Tennessee area, within about a half hour radius from my office.
This isn't about big-box retailers like Kroger, Publix, or Stop-N-Shop. This is about the rural phenomena that I feel is already and potentially could be an even bigger physical location for the introduction and distribution of technology in rural environments.
I've finished all 95 counties in Tennessee, which is what got me into visiting county seats in the first place. How little did I know in 2013 about what county collecting would grow into.
